SkinGuard AI ("we," "our," or "the app") is developed by DreamTeamApps. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the SkinGuard AI mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

SkinGuard AI is designed with privacy as a priority. Here's what happens with your data:

• Mole/Skin Photos: Photos you capture within the app are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
• AI Analysis Requests: When you request an AI risk assessment of a photo, the image is sent securely and temporarily to our backend service, which forwards it to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI) for analysis. The image is not permanently stored by our backend or by the AI provider beyond the time needed to generate a response.
• Location Data: If you enable location-based UV index alerts, your approximate location is used only to fetch local weather/UV data and is not stored or transmitted to us.
• Purchase Information: Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment details.
• Diagnostic Data: We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or third-party tracking data.

2. How We Use Information

Any data temporarily processed (such as a photo sent for AI analysis) is used solely to generate the risk assessment result returned to your device. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the app's core function.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your mole photos, tracking history, and notes are stored locally in the app on your device. We use a secure backend proxy so that no AI provider credentials are embedded in the app, and all requests are transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Photo data sent for AI analysis is shared only with our AI processing provider (OpenAI) strictly to generate the analysis result, subject to OpenAI's own data handling terms.

5. Your Choices

You can delete any photo or tracked mole entry directly within the app at any time. Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored data.

6. Children's Privacy

SkinGuard AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

SkinGuard AI is intended for informational and tracking purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified dermatologist or physician regarding any skin concerns.
